The priority of Le Grand Défi and Paintball Loisir is security. Whether it’s paintball or tree climbing, everything is designed and developed so that activities are carried out safely.

Tree climbing
Diploma
All park operators concerned with monitoring courses have a Professional Qualification Certificate (CQP) for Acrobatic Course Operator High Up (OPAH).
Control
Trees used for courses are monitored annually by the National Forestry Office (ONF). The trails in the trees are monitored annually by an inspection agency specialized in Acrobatic trails high up (PAH).
Equipements
All the “Le Grand Défi” courses are equipped with a continuous belay system. The continuous belay system is a cable installed on all trails, each climber is equipped with a hook that is put on the cable at the beginning of every trail and cannot be detached. This system can never be unhooked on a trail.
Paintball
Staff/ Referees
Before each game, one or more referees (depending on the number) explain the safety rules. During games the staff is on the field to ensure compliance with the safety rules. There are two essential rules: you have to wear a mask and the 10 meter safety distance.
Equipment
Markers are adjusted according to the age of the participants.
3 types of markers :
The paintballs used are light and fragile to avoid bruises upon impact. Each player is equipped with a mask. For players that want them we also lend breastplates.
